Thanks so much for playing! The sprinklers don't need to be close to water. They automatically water nearby crops. Might be a cool idea to do that though! Would give the water a real use haha
Tbh, I didn't really understand what was going on. Sometimes there's more plants, sometimes I can water them. I don't really understand what more water does, since I can seemingly water all tiles with a single water tile. I wasn't sure if the sprinkler were doing anything and I have no idea what the sheeps were for. At some point I would get a game over, I don't know why. I kind of don't know what the goal of the game is and how I'm impacting growth. I'm sure there's a cool game underneath, but I just don't understand 😅
Hey! Thanks for playing. The feedback is more than fair haha.
I've since the jam release been working on an update to make things clearer. There will be a description for each item/upgrade, explaining what they do. Sprinklers and sheep will show the area in which they work.
I want to make water tiles more useful by having them contain fish, which will also be a way to get points.
I suppose the "tutorial" text could be easily missed if you only see the grass tile, so some kind of visualization of the growth of a tile could help. It could show that you're about to be game over (which happens when a sunflower is dead for too long)
Thanks again for playing, and giving valuable feedback!
it sometimes was a bit weird to place tiles, they placed underneath the buttons (i think this was just because there wasn't really an indicator for when the tile can be placed)
i think most of it wasn't buggy (sorry lol) just missed a couple of minor details like knowing where you can place a tile and what affects what... also i think it would've been better if you couldn't place tiles everywhere... just at the other tiles yk
this sounds like a lot of bad stuff but it isn't! its just mimimi stuff xD

Pretty nice game, although l think you need to explain what do sprinkles do, do l place them close to water?! That was my only issue
Apart from that, cool pixelart and music as always)! Gameplay feels satisfying for what does it offer, l hope updates will come though!

Appreciate the kind words :D

Cool ! I'll try again with the update :)
Pretty nice and clean. Lovely. Lots of clicking. :D
Thanks! A whole lot of clicking, for sure haha
Nice game, but I feel like the 8 Bit sounds are unfitting for this game, they are kinda annoying sometimes, else its a fun little game :D
Thanks! Yeah I could see that. It was a matter of what I had with the given time haha. Will update it with better sounds at some point!
This is such a nice project! You've done a great job in creating a peaceful atmosphere with the calm music and cute graphics :D
Thanks so much! I'm glad you liked it :)
Quite buggy at some times, but can be very addictive!
Where can I rate the game for LD?
Hey, thanks for playing! Can you tell me what's buggy?
I don't think it can be rated just yet, as the jam isn't over yet
